Here are 10 of our favorite posters for lesser-known 70s horror movies.  This is a follow-up to our recent list of our favorite lesser-known 80s horror posters, which you can see by clicking here.  It is extremely hard to narrow these down to just 10, so perhaps there will be a part 2 to this post.

  1. Wow, these are really great posters. The only movie from this list I’ve seen was the Dunwich Horror. That movie really had me creeped out. Have to watch the rest of these films!

  2. Very nice, just finished watching the Vault of Horror actually, the poster is 10 times better than the actual movie. I was quite fond of the Tales From the Crypt poster as well which I hope makes its way to part 2.

  3. “The Dunwich Horror” stars Sandra Dee, Dean Stockwell and Talia Shire. To put it another way: Gidget, the Boy with Green Hair, and Connie Corleone/Rocky’s girlfriend. Let that sink in a minute.

    If you ask me, Sandra Dee was a more interesting actress than Doris Day.
